Climate funding is never a substitute for reducing your own emissions, but it's a meaningful complement. Here's exactly how we make sure every contribution you make through ClimateHero truly counts.
Our avoidance credits carry the Gold Standard label, one of the voluntary market's most rigorous certifications, founded by WWF. Our biochar and SAF are verified under their own recognised standards. All are held to the same bar: real, measurable and independently audited.
We spread your contribution across a diverse range of certified projects rather than betting on one. This spreads risk much like a mutual fund, giving you greater security and broader social benefit than backing a single project.
Every project we support has been certified and independently assessed for additionality. In short — your contribution makes them possible. Certification requires projects to demonstrate they wouldn't exist without carbon credit funding, and we apply strict selection criteria to prioritise the most credible projects.
